From tap @Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Deep mahogny with good clarity. Low tanned head. Biscuity pepper-ish light caramelly nose. Some sharp fruit tones, too. Taste is coffee-accented dark malts, quite mellow and undistinct. Herbal/earthy bitterness. Full for the relatively low abv. Nice prickling carbonation. Short dryish peppery malt ending. [10.01.13]

250ml poured from tap at the brewpub. Near clear, dark brown with a ruby shade. Diminishing, beige head. Good amount of lacing down the glass. Smell of earthy malts and bread. Bread, cold coffee and spiced fruits to the taste buds. Bitter dark fruits on the swallow. Soft in the mouth. Comprehensive and nice (Oslo, 10.12.2012).

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Hazy brown with an off-white to beige head. Very malty aroma with some roasty notes. Reminds me a bit of dark rye bread. Light to medium sweet with a balanced bitterness. Nice brown ale!

21.11.2012. On tap at Schouskjelleren brygghus. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Aroma of dark malts with choclolate and bitter dry coffe. Or is it Mocca? Its also a little sour at the end. Nice beer with a rather good rich malty body.

Cloudy murky brown colour with a tan head that leaves a fine lacing. Mild spicy aroma. medium body. Light sweetness and a dry texture. Moderate bitter. Rich roasted malt and a bit spicy. A fine fruitiness comes after a while in the mouth. So just keep the beer there. Do not swallow :-)

Hazy brown. Full of malt and cereals. Orange, gingerbread. Dry finish. A hint of yeast, maybe. Pleasant.
