On tap at Schouskjelleren. Amber body with a small offwhite head. Aroma of roast, ash, and light smoky. Taste is malty with citric hops, mild smoked meat finish. Itís not bad, I just feel itís a bit too little of everything here.

Cunningham (4492) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2014
Clear deep nutty color with an off white head. Some lacing. Some bacon. Mild peat and malty aroma. Medium body and tad sweet. Ok bitterness and soft carbonation. Quite mild and balanced flavor. Not any one dimensional ale. Some bacon, caramel malty, mild fruity and some peat. Decent.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo courtesy of Cunningham. Deep amber to chesnut coloured with a tan head. Moderate smoky aroma with hints of smoked meat, malt and caramel. Sweet, mildly smoky and caramely with a light bitterness. Nice enough, but not quite my cup of tea.

larsga (6206) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 30, 2014
Small offwhite head. Hazy reddish amber body with light carbonation. Roasty earthy wooden aroma with mealy caramelly notes. Dryish roasty smoky juniper taste with fruity creosote notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish juniper and wild berries aftertaste with resiny wooden fruity notes. Maybe some rye, too. Interesting, vivid and different. Drinkable, too. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)

Amber pour. Slight smoky aroma. Some hay/barn smell. Taste is sweet, smoke is very subtle, but lingers for a long time.

Draft @Schouskjelleren. Hazy orangey brown. Side-sticking tanned head. Subtle ashy smoke nose. Fine fruity hop tones. Mid-bodied. Dryish peppery malt base. Firm bitterness. Gentle smoke. Subtle and elegant, very likeable. [10.01.14]

Small glass, tap at the brewpub. Muddy brown body, low head, good lacing. Malt-fruity nose with restrained smoked malts. Flavours of smoked malts mixed with citrus and chocolate. Nice bitter tail. Medium bodied. A different, likable brew (Oslo 10.12.2013).

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy brown. Sweet, lots of malt, smoke, but not too well blended in. OK, but this was nothing special.
