On tap at the brewpub. As RBNAG-11. First made for the RBNAG 2011 pubcrawl. A black one, with a dense, light tan head. Lots of coffee on the nose, with some vanilla. Roasted. Quite dry on the palate, yet with residual sweetness. Nice co2 level. Lots of flavor, especially coffee. Coffee-bitter in the finish, with lots of coffee flavor. A really worthy beer for the occasion. 111014

Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 25, 2012
200ml, 6% abv., served a bit too cold from tap at the brewpub. Low, tan-coloured head, solid amount of patchwork. Jet-black body. Mid-sweet malts to the nose, rather dry and supplied by moments of dark fruits. Cocoa, coffee and vanilla pod in flavour followed by a smooth, bitter roastiness to the ending. Well bodied. Good drinking (Oslo, 23.01.2012).

Medium creamy dark brown head. Opaque black body. Light milky chocolatey aroma with earthy spicy notes. Very smooth and rounded. Dry-sweet dry cocoa and cold coffee taste with mealy peppery notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. Fullish body. Dryish mealy earthy coffee aftertaste with cocoa and vanilla notes. Nice. Really drinkable and well rounded. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)

Thanks to Morten at Schouskjelleren for sharing a few of the reamining drops. Vanilla, coffee, toast. Incredible coffee aroma. Discreet smoke. Not in your face, just a mellow blend of alll the ingredients. Sweet toasty finish. Milk.

From tap @Schouskjelleren, Oslo. An opaque dark brown pour, a shade away from black. Stable, light choco brown cream head. Pleasant choco/cocoa aroma. Vanilla tones and a scent of mild coffee ground. Coffee-accented soft dark malt flavor. Bitter-sweet, with vanilla and subtle ash tones. Creamy texture, supersmooth in the mouth. Full. Lingering coffee ending. A fully balanced and well-crafted beer, more than worthy for the RBNAG 11 gathering
