3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours black coffee colour with a brown tan head. Malty aroma with some light floral notes. Malt and some coffee in the taste but not overwhelming, good balance. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sour after taste. Definitely the best of this brewery until now.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at brewpub. Now this is the best of the beers (of their own) they had availible on their second day.
Pours almost black in the glass with a finger thick head that disappears in a minute.
A rich (without going gonzo danish style) malty aroma, strong coffee flavour, if I hadn’t known better I’d have guessed this was the Java stout that they emptied the night before.
A bit thin, but I think this beer can develop into a really good stout. Will defo buy again!
