On tap @ Schouskjelleren RBNAG-11. Slightly hazy golden body with a nice off-white head. Aroma is mostly citric fruit with just a hint of malt, but very nice. Flavor is moderate sweet malt, lots of citric fruity bitterness and balanced caramel towards the aftertaste. Medium body, bitter aftertaste. Not particular bitter, but tasty, refreshing and a really quaffable beer.

250ml as Transport Helicopter CH47B, 7% abv., draught at the brewpub. Grey-orange body, headless, fragile lacing. Smell of citrus shells. Malt-fruity taste profile including oranges, resin-like hops and caramel malts. Nice bitter finish. Oily palate. Well bodied and enjoyable to drink (Oslo, 08.10.2011).

Palme (3163) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 18, 2011
Tap @ Schoukjellleren. This is a heavy clouded deep orange beer with a small quickly fading off-white head. The aroma is really mild but nice. Some hints of freshly cut grass, some honey and dried strawberries. Quite nice. Soft to average carbonation, medium-bodied and it has a light sticky to oily mouthfeel. Kinda sweet flavor-wise, notes of peach, pineapple and passion fruit. A good amount of bitter hops, more honey and it’s also mildly yeasty with a light almost hard to notice sour hint in the aftertaste. Ends light dry and medium bitter. Yeah, almost.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy, dark golden beer with a creamy, finger thick off-white head. Lacings. The aroma has citrusy, piney hops and fruity sweetness. Too sweet on the palate, and a bit yeasty. Full body, semi dry. Nice bitterness. Rather ordinary, but still quite nice. 111014
