sleepylopes (264), New York, USA Apr 3, 2008 wow. Hoppy for a kolsch, nice and dry with a golden toast aroma. Decent marshmello flux head. On tap at the pub. Served nice and cold in a small glass so as to keep it cold and carbonated. Much dryer than others I have had which is nice because the hops and pale malt Shine through with only a bit of sweetness.

MiP (4843), Flensburg, Germany Apr 30, 2008 Bottle, 4.8%. Bready aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is mildly bready. Light hoppy aroma. Flavour is mild malty, light hoppy and with a mild grainy note. Ends with a subdued malt sweetnes and a light bitterness and acidity. CapedBrewsader (179), Brasschaat, Belgium Mar 3, 2008 50cl. bottle (thanks to Koelschtrinker): Very light gold with large white head. Pale malt and toasted malt aroma with a touch of sugar. Low but balanced hop aroma. Bread dough and some chalkiness. A slightly "seaside" twang coming from the back. Well balance flavor. Light sweet works in harmony with the light hops. A nice toast with a touch of tangerine. Sweet doughy finish.
