Bottle by 07.08.13. Cloudy gradient yellow-golden with a jiggling, fluffy white head, nose is relatively neutral. In the mouth, yeasty-creamy wit faint bitterness and light sweetness, touch of tart, crisp with hug mineral character and some mild citrus. Medium body, this one’s all about consistency, mouthfeel.

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Cloudy orange appearance with an off white head and lively carbonation. Herbal, woody, mild spicy yeasty, orange citrusy aroma. Chewy, banana/orange fruity, a bit chewy yeasty flavor. Ok.

Frisch, dezent grasiger Beginn, in dem sich die vorhandenen Hefenoten zurückhalten. Anschließend steigt die Hefigkeit etwas, weiterhin sind Grasnoten zu erkennen, trotz konstenter Hefigkeit wird ein Bananenton deutlicher. Dumpf, etwas trocken. It’s unclear warm golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of babana + peel, baking yeast (non spicy) and wheat. The sweet flavor has mild notes of yeast, banana peel, light banana, bread and wheat, and the finish is dry.

Hazy matt medium orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate to light heavy yeasty, banana, bubble gum, clove. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, banana, fruity, clove. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110910]

Hefig-herber Geruch. Antrunk süßlich und hefig mit nelkigen Untertönen. Das Mittelstück gerät gewürzig-aromatisch und damit durchaus angenehm. Ausgehend schleicht sich ein leicht säuerlicher Part ein, welcher sich im Abgang steigert und noch eine gewisse Herbe mit ins Spiel bringt. Trotzdem überwiegt hier der saure Part, wirkt nicht übel, aber doch etwas aufdringlich, sodaß dieser Abschnitt schwächer ausfällt. Insgesamt gesehen dennoch ein recht ordentliches Weizen. 500 ml bottle picked up at Bier Hannes in Frankfurt, Germany and then dragged off to Kenya. Pours a hazy gold color with a lasting white head. Aroma is hefe, malt and bananas. Soft unsweet bananas, and yeast. Palate is too sour for a true Hefe but still good.
