Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of detergent, celery, gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Even worse than the A Fraenkisch. Dirty and with almost no redeeming features, an utter drain pour. So much for trying anything else from this place, sheesh.

Bottle. Amber with a large head. Aroma of thin caramel. Flavour is thin malt with a heavy dose of what tastes like salt that also dominates the palate.

#552 Malzig, liquides Kellerbier mit leicht säuerlichem Hefetouch. Könnte im Abgang ne Spur mehr Hopfen vertragen, ist aber insgesamt ein recht gelungener Vertreter seiner Gattung! Test vom 6.2.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,10,9,12,10 - 9,80

(bottle) pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. strange aroma of heavy physalis and cactus juice, cocktail tomatos, light milk chocolate, roasted malts and worcestershire sauce. flavour is mostly dandelions, popcorn and pretzels, again quite strange and salty, with a hint of walnuts in the finish. light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

EithCubes (4198) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Bottle by 12/30. Sweet citrus malt and Keller-yeast. Hazy amber-orange body with a soapy beige head. Strongish carbonation and tastes very sharp with more than a little acidity/tang. Very light roast, low but persistent bitterness, and sheets of malt to twirl, slightly oily. Sweet with caramel and low fruitiness. Bit of dirt.
