COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Diablo’s body shines a radiant black; the head and umber-brown. Toasted notes first greet your palate, then yield in turn to the flavors of chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Complex, layered, and eminently drinkable.

Bomber. Poured deep brown with a quickly-formed tan head. The aroma picked up sweet vanilla and cocoa notes paired with lightly burnt roast.. nothing stellar, but welcoming. The flavor found tangy burnt roast and carbonation on the tip of the tongue, with vanilla and blended chocolates following.. dry roasted cocoa and lactic notes on the finish. Medium-bodied with heavy carbonation on the palate.. a little too much bitter roast at times.. aiight overall.

Draft. Smoke and a light sweet malt aroma. The medium body and long burnt finish just build on itself making the smoke characteristics dominate the whole experience. Personally it seems the malts were over roasted and minimize any possibility for complexity or balance.

Bomber from Capitol Beer. Pours dark brown with a slight creamy tan head. Aroma is sweet and chocolate. Med minus body. Flavor is not matching the aroma. Flavor is dark unsweet chocolate with some herb/veg aspects. Maybe a little smoke. Finishes towards dry with dark malt bitter. Drinks nicely.

On tap at Tap 25. It pours a very dark brown with some ruby highlights and a tan colored head. The aroma has lots of roasted malt and hints of coffee. The flavor is roasted with some black licorice. Light bodied and pretty dry. Not sure if this is a stout or a schwarzbier, but whatever, it drank pretty good.
