Hop bitter aroma with chemical undertones. Clear yellow colour with white foamy head and good lacing. Biter malt hop flavour. Fizzy palate.

After the CB from Norway this was an improvement. While it maynot be saying a lot there was a reasonable degree of spiciness and dry finish that a Jever has. Not as refined but still a fair attempt at the Euro Pils.

jerohen (1875) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - JUL 10, 2004
Canned, 0.5 liter. Initially large but dying head. Sweet grainy aroma. Metallic, bitter flavour with some additional sweetness. Not good, but hey it’s another rating...

jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2004
Grainy and skunky hop aroma. Pale yellow color, white head, fair lace. Light sweet, grainy, metallic bitter, watery. I pitty those who buy this in trays of 24 cans at a time at the Aldi. Don’t they have any taste or don’t they have the money?

Pale blond body. White head, mostly diminishing, fairly lacing. Hoppy aroma. Flat flavour, lightly bitter in the beginning.

JorisPPattyn (7363) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 4, 2003
Pale straw colour; very huge head, ever so slightly yellowish, quite lacey. Very typical malt-cum-grassy-German hops nose. Not too bad, nothing daring. Typical German-style imitation. Flat, sweet malt flavour, with even some liquorice. Faint metallic tang in the palate, but always sweet. Watery mouthfeel, unsatisfying. Dreary supermarket Pilsener for the European masses wherever. Bweeuh. "Edelpils", my $&*!

i am impressed with the comprehensiveness here - schultenbrau german and belgian versions. strange that the belgian version is rated far more highly as i didn't notice a big difference but prefered my can in germany. this i found sickly metallic with corn sugar sweetness just redeemed by some abrupt bitterness

Worty aroma. Sweetish, worty taste, slightly metallic. Bland, cheap supermarket beer.

Another medium gold with medium size and medium lasting white head. Faint forgettable hops and malt aroma. Please someone show me a pils with a decent aroma! Medium-light body, bright bitter sweet start, weak bitter middle and bland but somewhat refreshing finish. Relys too much on the palate and not enough is done with flavours for my taste.
