[1998] Hazy pale golden with a spritzy white head that faded to nothing. Aroma of lemons, hay, lacto, citrus, wood, and light oxidation. Taste of lemon, citrus, floral, green grapes, light apple, and sour finish.

Bottle. Pale pour with sediment sticking to the side of the bottle.
Aroma of citrus, hay and vegstable. A sour tart taste with a sharp bite.
Rather good for the style.

Der Geruch, der aus der Flasche strömt, verschlägt mir den Atem, ich muss schlagartig an angenehmste Geuzen denken! Auch der erste Schluck entäuscht nicht, das Bier ist sauer, ja, aber es ist eine angenehme und nicht zu dominante Säure, die einem hier präsentiert wird. Ich neige, in Anlehnung an Geuzen, fast zu dem Wort "mild". Die angenehme Säuerlichkeit steht in weiten Teilen alleine, die Milchsäure ist deutlich erkanbar, aber von Zeit zu Zeit scheint auch ein wenig Hopfen zu erscheinen, auch wenn dieser schnell wieder verschwunden ist. Der Nachgeschmack ist tatsächlich mild, dezent säuerlich, aber nicht stechend, sondern derartig breit gesträut, dass ein großes Aromenspektrum eingenommen wird. Mag etwas komisch klingen, man sollte es selber erschmecken! Zuletzt etwas nussig.
Eine Spezialität, die auszusterben droht, dies ist, angesichts dieses Bieres, SEHR schade. Super Bier!!

Appearance: Slightly cloudy yellow with a small white head and some light lacing
Aroma: Tart green apples and vinegar
Taste: Tart citrus, vinegar and apple
Wow, this tastes great for a 24 year old beer! Crisp and clean.

12 ounce bottle from 1987. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a small white head. A superb sour lambic-like nose, some sawdust, vanilla. Tart lactic sourness, earthy, woody, some sweetness akin to a Faro, lemons, some vanilla. Some particulates and a odd caked film on the bottom. Quite nice considering it is 24 years old it’s amazing. A sort of thin body.

Home (33 cl bottle): A slightly cloudy beer with a light yellow colour and a small white head. The aroma is sour (lactic acid) with wheat, fruityness 9citrus and appel) and some wood/vanille hints. The taste is nice sour (lactic acid) which is in a good balance with the wheat end fruity taste (citrus, appel, grapefruit). Also some wood hints. The aftertaste stay sour, but nice.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow in color. A rich and bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet and skunky. The flavor is citric and sour. The aftertaste is sour and lasts for quite some time.
