Maria (4743), Thisted, Denmark Dec 3, 2008 The color is golden and the head is huge, white and creamy. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and a slightly dry, citrussy bitterness and notes of malt, straw and a hint of vegetables. It is quite refreshing. sirPino (625), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Aug 19, 2008 No 493
On tap at Bavarian Pub in Czestochowa, glass 500 ml.
Appearance: Pours nice, shiny golden body colour, carbonation is mild, body is clear, head is snowy white, decent lacing, frothy head in texture.
Aroma: Very weak and gentle aroma of German origin, north Pilsener hops, a bit flowery but mainly citrusy, gently sweet malty base, very clean, streight.
Flavour: Very gentle malty base with floral - citrusy hops at front, a bit reminding white wine grapes, like young seasonal white wine, a kind of gentle graphite like bitterness, very thin, soft and gentle in terms of body and flavour, later on citrusy accent becomes present and the very characteristic for North Classic German Pilseners accidity, like vinegar drop in a small cup of watery. Finish duration is medium with clementine, orange and lemon accompaining the taste.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is slightly bitter and accidic.
