Jul 1, 2009 Honey grassy aroma, nice sweet honey malts with a lot of noble hoppy grassy aromas. Pours golden amber with a thin white head. Very nicely balanced, caramel malts with loads of grassy hop bitterness, with hints of a nutty flavor as well. very earthy hop flavor. A great Altbier!!!!!

May 20, 2009 Bottled (BBE Apr 2009, from Bov, thank you!). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head, nice lace. Aroma is wooden, a bit fruity with some earth and nutty notes. Flavour is bitter wooden notes along with some nuttyness and caramel malts. Wellbalanced and really nice.

Dec 20, 2008 Courtesy of Fonefan, handbottled fresh beer. It is red-golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and hints of oranges. The flavour has notes of butterscotch, malt, fruit and hints of oranges. It is an uncomplicated and OK altbier.

Dec 11, 2008 The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass lighter than exspected. Copper-coloured. Starts spicy and strong, modest dry. Finish a bit woody. Very drinkable and good Alt.
