Fukito (603), Buenos Aires, Argentina Mar 31, 2007 Tap, march 07. Copper-golden color, crystal clear and a medium white head. Very nice caramel aroma with a touch of seaside saltiness. Slightly phenolic, peachy flavor, sligthly astringent too. Good, but not that great. A nice woody end. Medium MF and a lingering woody aftertaste. Nice but a bit rough alt.
darkseduction (135), Zweibrücken, Germany Aug 4, 2008 One liter fliptop. Copper coloured brew with stable head. Hoppy nose, slight roasted grain smell. Slim malty body, massive hops but a great assembly. Refreshing, longlasting and delicious hop finish. Great brew! MrRomero (1913), Louisville, Kentucky, USA May 26, 2008 One liter fliptop bottle: poured orange with a large fluffy beige head. Light hop aroma with a bit of malt, light roastiness.
Mild bitter hop flavor initially, picking up in the finish. Nothing blows me away with this beer. jerohen (1496), Bussum, Netherlands May 19, 2008 Updated: May 25, 2008On draft at the brewpub. Amber coloured, fair head. Malts and hops, some grainy notes. Dry finish. Not very good, but on the other hand: i had a Schlüssel just before. CROchamp (10), USA May 17, 2008 One of the less bitter-more drinkable strictly "local" Alts. Amber and somewhat reminiscent of some porters. Joy to find (by far not as big as Diebels or Frankenheim, but luckily a lot more available than Duessel or Schluessel). downender (1726), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England May 17, 2008 From the barrel at Zeitgeist @ The Jolly Gardeners, Lambeth 16/5/08. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of fruity malt, earthy hops and a hint of caramel. Flavour was bitter, with more fruit and grassy hops, some green herbs and a touch of wood, before a light, bitter finish. Enjoyable.
