Poured a reddish brown with a cream off white head. Aroma is weak malt. Taste is a burnt corny malt.

Test vom 13.12.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,8,8,9,-,8 - 8,26

1 l swing top bottle, many thanks to pivnizub. Amber color with medium stable beige head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, cookies. Taste, starts sweet with caramel and toffee followed with strong hoppy bitterness. Long bitter finish. Nice.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Meget fin øl, men også lidt kedelig.

Etwas fruchtig. Gut, aber nicht super. Test vom 16.11.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,10,11,12,11,11 - 10,80

Gravity from the wood at brewey tap. Dark gold with an off white head. At first a little sweet, but after a glass or two the hops come through in force and its not difficult to see why the whole town seems to decend on the pub to drink this nectar on the 3 days of the year that it replaces the standard house ale. Well worth targeting. Be prepared to josstle for service.

Fresh bottle, big thanks to pivnizub! Spicy nose - heather, honey, aromatic citric and herbal hops. Hazy red golden, lacing golden head. Dry hoppy entry, berry notes, honey, grain, spicy honey notes retronasal. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Dry grassy aftertaste. Awesome!

1l-bottle, kindly delivered by pivnizub - díky, díky, díky! Clear amber colour, lovely beige head. Hoppy-caramelly nose. Full-bodied, solid malty bas with lovely biter hoppy flavours and a herbal touch. Hints of caramel, roasted malts and toffee. A delicious beer!

The bottle looks not really good, but the beer in the glass is incredible. Copper-coloured, fine creamy head. Starts strong and dry, prickly-malty. Finish is a bit weeker, notes are not as intense as before. Good beer.

Bottle, 5.5% at LCRBM08. Caramelly aroma. Clear amber colour. Small stable white head. Estery, perhaps phenolic caramel notes. Creamy mouthfeel.
