Decent marzen from this brwerey, but nothing special. I may be jaded drinking it out of "season", but didn’t detect anything special while drinking this brew. Not bad, but average...

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2012 (Flasche) Farblich ist es wie pfirsich Eistee oder Apfelsaft, klar filtriert, mit einer fast weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist sehr karamellig, das alles andere überdeckt. Der Geschmack ist anfangs kurz breit, geht leicht in die Richtung nasses Getreide und geht dann schnell und sehr schlank ab mit einer leichten Süße, einer kleinen Apfelnote und kaum Bittere. Die Karbonisierung passt. Zusammengefasst ist das eher ein Bier das gut gekühlt am Strand getrunken werden kann sonst braucht man es nicht

Dark golden color; creamy head. Light caramel aroma. Good body, with a decent caramel flavor, and light residual sugars.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, many thanks. Dark golden color with medium white head. Malt, honey and bitter hops in aroma. Taste, nice bitter hoppy with floral notes, hints of honey and caramel. Long bitter finish. Nice Märzen.

500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany at home. Pours a deep dark golden color with a slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma is nuts, malt and caramel. Taste is sweet cremy malt, nuts and soft grapes. Palate is light mellow and so light bitterness but very light. This is more like a Dunkel taste to me but it is good.

Swing top bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Deep golden color. Grassy aroma, malty with hints of plum. Malty bready flavor with plum and grassy, soft herbal notes. Pleasant.

Bottle looks really good, beer in the glass also. Deep golden, nice head. Starts strong, quite spicy, fine malty. Hoppy-dry background. Finish also a bit sourish but the spicy notes are dominating. Really good!

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, deep golden colour with a slightly off-white medium-sized foamy head. Slightly nutty and sweet cara-malty aroma with a bready touch. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Quite dry and plain (cara-)malty taste with bready notes; sweet malt-accented finish with a restrained level of hoppy bitterness. All in all rather unexciting. 16.III.11

Bügelverschlußflasche von Stefan! Deep golden, visible carbonation, medium-sized fluffy off-white head; metallic-grainy nose with a certain amount of sweet malt underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied; slightly increasing hoppiness towards the bitter-grainy finish. Not so overwhelming....

Bottle 50 cl from Quack-duck thanks. A clear amber beer with medium head and high carbonation. Nose is vegetable like. Aroma is medium sweet to high, properly malted, nice hops flavor, good body, caramel hints.
