TBone (5171), Pori, Finland Jul 28, 2007 Draught in Liechtenstein
Golden color, creamy white head, lace. Lemony hoppy, dish wash cleanser aroma. Medium-bodied, malty brew. Crisp with lemony esters. This is beer that many brewpub lagers/helleses are like. Quack-Duck (1976), Bodensee, Germany Jun 23, 2007 pale yellow, medium-sized head. Quite hoppy lager, only slightly malty, a bit thin. ALLOVATE (1127), Perth, Australia Jun 5, 2005 Tasted this one from the bottle (Labelled Edelspez Premium 5.0%) and poured it into it’s own stem glass. Sparkling clear gold body, with light fine carbonation holding up a mostly lasting short fluffy white head. Very subtle lemon and grassy hop aroma, quite clean and dry, with a little grain underneath. Initial carbonic bite on the tongue, subsided as it warmed a little, very light bodied, dry and grassy bitter in the back. Little grain to balance, but overall light on in flavour. Apparently made to the German ’Reinheitsgebot’ which in my opinion boosts it a little. Definitely an easy quaffer. bluevegie (1817), Perth, Australia Feb 22, 2005 Pale golden colour with an average head. Cheesey vanilla sort of aroma. Light to medium body, soapy, pears with some pleasant bitterness. Easy enough to drink although nothing outstanding. Kåstå (1144), Mol, Belgium Jun 19, 2002 A very blond, sparkly lager beer. A small creamy head.
