Nase hefig, bananig. Geschmack ähnlich, klassisch. Vergleichsweise weich. Auf der Linie der guten bayerischen Vorbilder.

In a Lichtenstein restaurant, drank after tiring, walking day. Head is small in creamy, taste is fantasting and really refreshing. Miliards of bubbles that is appreciated by my palate, ideal solution for a rest after busy summer day!

500 ml bottle in Switzerland. Pours a orange hazy brown color. Full very frothy head almost like whipped cream. A fantastic looking beer! Aroma is yeast, cloves and banana. Taste is much the same. Palate is mellow and nice. A very good Hefe. A little off the normal German type but really nice.

Bottle 0.5l from Drink of the World Zurich, Switzerland. 05.05.2016. Pour it cloudy orange color with small white head. Really strange appearance, never see it like this. Aroma lots of wheat, banana, some orange peel on the back. Taste sweet fruits, banana mainly, perfectly balanced, smooth and silky texture. Really nice weizen.

bottle from Blaser Kreuzlingen. Cloudy brownish-golden colour, large off-white head. Fruity-yeasty nose. Very wheaty, only shy hints of fruit, not as heavy on banana as many examples of the style. Wheaty, yeasty, with shy hints of honey, vanilla, clove and caramel. Ver nice.

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, deep golden to light-amber colour with a tall but non-persistent and off-white foamy head. Yeasty and intensively bubblegum-fruity aroma with wheaty notes, a touch of banana and citrus and mildly phenolic spices. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Wheaty, slightly yeasty and fruity taste with obvious notes of bubblegum; mildly sweet and slightly bitter finish with fruity notes and a touch of phenolic spices. Classical Weizen. Good. 30.III.11
