Clear yellow color with small head. Tastes and looks like an ordinary pilsner.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MrRomero (1966) - Nolanville, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2006
500ml fliptop bottle: clear yellow with a medium sized white head. Mild hop aroma. Little else. The taste is pretty much all hops albeit little. Semi dry as I have found most Schwaben Braus to be. Lots of Americans in Southern Germany drink this brand but I haven’t found anything worth keeping in stock.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, off-white head. Very discreet, malty nose. Medium body and malty, but not as deliciously sweet as your typical Helles. Dry, lightly sulphurous finish. 040706
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Storm (2685) - Amager, DENMARK - APR 10, 2006
50 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Golden clear colour with a nice off-white head. Nice smooth aroma of hops, grass-like and very fresh. Bitter flavour that ends up dry and little unpleasant metallic-like-way, not the best helles I had.

Swing-top bottle: Pale golden, small fluffy white head; grainy, bit soapy or cardboardy nose with a secret bitterness, faint bitter flavour, empty MF; short bitter and a bit sweetish finish. Not a huge pleasure........
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (4195) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2006
From the swing-top. Rich golden color, soapish white head with decent lacing. Strong hoppy scent, malty taste with light finishing bitterness. Medium bodied+. Clean, well-made, not a lot of character - average at best.

For the style, more bitter than expected. quite grassy, sweetish finish, an ok brew, especially since I usually don´t care for this style.

Clear pale yellow with large foamy and lacing head. Aroma is sweet grass, malt candy. Flavor is malt, sweet, slight metallic. Thicker than expected palate, but don’t get too excited. It’s a german beer.
