Slightly starchy aroma. Paleish and clear, brief head. Watery palate. Simple starchy body, ans some metallic biting hops. Damn - we had 2 great beers by these guys earlier, but this is macro style thinness. Don’t filter good beers. Disappointed. So starchy.

0.5 litre flip-top bottle: BBD 20 Jun 15, drank at home on 2 Nov 14. Pours a clear, bright golden colour with a small white head, looks clean and fresh. Aroma is light malt, grass, hay and maybe even hoppy. Taste is a little sweet with the hops not showing until the finish. Thought this OK and refreshing.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Golden yellow body, thick white head. Not much in the way of aroma, grassy, ricey. Taste is a little bland, not one to repeat in a hurry. Bottle was pretty mind you.

500 ml bottle at home. Aroma of corn and damp vegetation. Pours a fine golden colour with a small white head that disappears a little too quickly. Taste is mainly sweet with slight bitterness. Lively on the tongue, it has a dry finish and moderate body. Overall merely OK. I bought it from Aldi, mainly for the swing-top bottle to use for home-brew so I’m not too disappointed!

at this point, i can barely distinguish the various brands of german beer. however, Schwaben hasn’t impressed me thus far. some lemon, citrusy and floral notes. aftertaste is a bit off, but otherwise not bad.

pale golden color, clear; quickly dissipating white foam - aroma: grain, some citrusy hops - taste: light sweetness, then light bitterness; very balanced - light body, thin texture, average carbonation - very subtle, grainy finish.

500ml bottle, pours light clear golden brown with a small head. Bready malt and grassy, straw hop flavours, a little bit of citrus. Decent beer, solid, crisp but nothing special and forgettable.

"Pop". Fluffy diminishing off white head. Clear golden to straw-golden body. Aroma; hops, grass, yellow apple, pale malts. Taste; fruity malts, apple on bread, fruity lemon juice, strawberry, grains. Normal and clean on palate. Alright but not spectacular. [50 cl. br. swingtop- btl. 5.0%abv.°. BB24.10.14.10925]

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is malt, hay and hops. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is slightly more sweet than bitter with some hops at finish. Overall, an average beer, drinkable but not remarkable.
