Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, herbs and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some wet paper, some bitterness, dry finfish. medium body, average carbonation.

12/11 A 0.5 l fliptop bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Yeasty, dusty and honey/bread malty aroma. Flavor was slightly sweet and a bit more bitter, cardboard, honey, grainy and yeasty, all messed up. Medium bodied with long unbalanced finish. Didn’t like this weird pils.

swing top bottle 500ml. -from Rewe Sindelfingen, shared with Marko and heavy. Hazy pale golden coloured, small white head, acidic yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty and slight hoppy with notes of hay in the finish. Unbalanced but drinkable.

Ogi’s. Poured a murky yellowish golden body with a small white head. Yeast attack in the nose, dry, grainy, some eggs. Dry light eggy taste, no character, light something. Paper, cardboard. Leaving a beer unfiltered is generally hardly an improvement if a beer is unimpressive to begin with.

Bottled. Pale golden with enough haze to be recognized as unfiltered; this doesn’t lend much flavour to the beer, however with a sweet mustiness, hints of cardboard box from the cellar and no real fruitiness or fresh grassy hop character. Quite industrial for an unfiltered beer; reminded me a bit of gambrinus kvasnicovy

Half Liter Swing Top Bottle from Germany. Overall, a solid pilsener with a ton of flavor. The weak point was the scent, which was a very faint grain. Hazy yellow pour with a foamy white head. A medium/light body with a frothy feel. Pilsener flavor through and through! Big grain taste, potent.

Test vom 18.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 3,3,3,3,9,3 - 3,30

A good beer for an hearty dinner. Malty, roasted popcorn, quaffable. Drunken from the bottle.

0,5 l swing top bottle. Hazy and light amber in colour. Some aroma of nuts, a bit malty and way too sweet for someone who is used to northern or western pilsners. Has something of a weizen. Drinkable, but no sensation.

Buegelverschlußflasche: Hazy and pale golden with a mid-sized, lacy off-white head, that slowly collapses; pale malt, fruity yeast and distinctive traces of noble hops in the aroma, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft; slim, but aromatic hoppy and vrainy finish. Well drinkable stuff…
