Hazy yellow, big frothy white head. Nose is dust, grains, malt, grass, hop notes. Taste is on the thin side with more grains, malt, grassy hops. Small amount of bitterness in the finish. Thin body, medium carbonation, watery palate. Pretty forgettable.

Aroma: Grainy, slight yeast and sulphur notes. Appearance: Hazy orange/gold with huge white head. Flavor: Malt, cellar-like flavors, watery. Palate: Light bodied, moderate carbonation and medium bitter finish. Overall: Not like any pilsner I have had before. I like some of the flavors, but the watery aspect really detracts from the overall enjoyment.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2014 New rating (March 9, 2014): This beer is different than what I remember the first time I had it. The beer I had last night was very malty-- more like a Czech pilsner than a German one-- and not crisp at all. Nose was maple malts. The head was sometimes very decent with excellent foamy lacing, and sometimes it dissipated quickly (I had 3 bottles). The wheat and straw overtones were very noticeable. Still a very light body like before, with a watery finish. Does not hold up to food. Still a decent pilsner in my book, and way better than any American Pils I have tried. June 2, 2013 (original rating): Hazy and light straw colored. Rich and tasty Noble/Saaz hops that let you know you are drinking a fine German pilsner. Very clean and smooth finish, almost unusually so. I don’t understand the many comments stating this doesn’t taste like a pilsner. Actually it does, but a very light one. What we have here is the fresh and flavorful hop profile of a fine Bavarian pilsner with the clean and dry finish of a Kolsch. This beer does not hold up well to food, and becomes bland even from light snacking. Please enjoy on its own.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy light yellow with nice white head. Aroma is malt, cereal. Flavor is malt, cereal. Slightly lingering hops in the aftertaste. A bit watery and I’m missing some biterness there, but quite drinkable.

Bottiglia da 50 cl. Color oro opaco con schiuma bianca. Delidente al naso solo malto e un pó citrico. Al palato inizia con un fine amaro che lascia spazio al malto leggermente citrico che la rende astringente.

.5l swing top, found in a new Belgrade market. Soft corny grain malt aroma foamy white head. Lemony yellow, hazy body. fresh clean citrus notes of of the aroma, well hidden. Same lemon and honey with an astringent bitterness pervade. Not super easy to drink. Some honey, herbs are rolled in. Not a bad beer, no huge flaws, but isn’t jumping out in any category. Well balanced and put together, I can give it.
