3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Glad to see DanielBrown giving this a good score: I do think there’s a tendency to pre-judge these mass-produced cheapies, as if we’re looking for validation for seeking out the more esoteric brews. 500 ml bottle from ALDI, poured into a Budweiser version of an English pint This has a bit of farmyard straw aroma, a hazy gold body with a white head. Bread, lemon sourness and apples, Light bodied crisp and refreshing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml Flip-top bottle from a local Aldi, drank at home on 23rd Sep 2016. Misty golden yellow body wise, large and almost lasting white blanket of foam for a head. Citrusy nose and flavour with some biscuit like sweetness also, yeast and a mild spiciness within the taste adding extra flavours. Decent, liked it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Aldi. Disappointed and slightly hurt by some of the low scores here. Really enjoyed this hazy pleasure giver. Lemon, wheat biscuit malt. Good length of flavour, crisp, full. One of the better Kellers that I’ve tried.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, pours a hazy dull light gold color with a fluffy white head. The smell is yeasty, some lemon zest, grainy. The taste is as it smells with a somewhat dry ending. Light in body with average carbonation. Not too bad...

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
- hellgelbe Farbe mit ganz leichter zarter Schaumbildung
- zarte – kaum wahrnehmbare - grasig saure Aromen
- gut carbonisiert
- geschmacklich bleibt dieses säuerliche erhalten
- erst im Abgang kommt noch eine Hopfenbitternis hinzu
- durchschnittliches Kellerbier
Fazit: Sehr mäßiges Industrie-Kellerbier

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle . Pours a pale, hazy gold with a high, creamy, mixed-grained white head that leaves a bit of lace. Nose is lemon, strong yeast, bread dough, and stinky cheese -- it just smells really fermented without being spoiled, and I dig that. Strong and rustic on the tongue; more fermentation, almost to the point of acetic but not quite. Elements of rye bread, pickles, roast nuts, and a little honeyed sweetness. It drinks like a darker beer than it is. Finish is long and turns a little sweeter. Definitely a beer with a bit of a feral snarl to it, and that’s cool.
