Poured dingy gold with a fluffy white head. Aromas of hay/straw, cereal, German malts and hops. Light and almost refreshing. I like this quite a bit. Unfortunately this isn’t a beer you’ll see on tap in the States very often.

Fliptop bottle, gold pour settling fast to no head. Very light aroma with faint malt. Golden malty body, faint nuttiness, faint vegetal hop note, dry malt and a light acrid bitterness in the finish. Like a super-strength tramp lager but properly made, which I guess is what it is.

Tap at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Light golden colour with an off-white head. Caramel malt aroma. A little sweet. Refreshing after a warm day in London.

Riecht nach nix, was schade ist. Geschmack eher in Richtung Zucker, ohne zu sehr dem Alkohol verfallen zu sein. Mild im Abgang und dadurch sehr gefaehrlich. Sueffig, doch am Ende nur nett mit einigen staerkeren Punkten.

Clear light golden colour with low head and medium to smooth body. Very low carbonation. Nose of old strong malt. Taste of mild old hops, strong alcohol, hay and orange peel. Easy to drink but just too dull and boring and the finish is too metallic and coppery.

Very, very malty. Golden in color with tiny head, aroma is all malt as is taste. Alcohol is apparent, Just plain average, but good if you want to catch a buzz....

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Clean grain with a bit of corn to it. Sweet corn and some banana and caramel. Touch too sweet for me, esters and some wheat and corn.drinkable at least.

Medium white head, clear golden colour. Sweet-fruity aroma. Bitter-fruity taste and a bitter palate. Nothing special, but far from as bad as the other ratings might suggest.

500ml bottle. Aroma is hops and oat. Appearance is pale golden with a thin head. Taste is light sweet and bitter. Has a medium long and hops-ish finish. Overall a slightly disappointing Bock.
