The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very much foam, but fast collapsing. Flavor modest hoppy, not really dry, modest malty. Not bad!
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DruncanVeasey (6179) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2007
Bottle, Lidl. Pale gold with white halo. Soapy tin snout and slippery mouth. Bread, metal, cardboard malt graininess. Lingeringly bitter. Superior crappy pils so grainy it almost tastes like an n/a beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - AUG 25, 2007
(Lidl, 4.6 %). Looks like pils/lager, a mixture of fresh and skunky nose. Buttery and a bit czech style hoppiness in the flavor, doesn’t taste very classic german to me, but then again I’m not that familiar with southern german pils’. Some metallic hints in there too. Very good for the price (6-pack for 3.99 €).
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 taunusmies (324) - FINLAND - MAY 22, 2007
Pours clear with golden colour. Aroma has malts and some grassy hops. A bit bitter taste. Not bad at all considering the price (from Lidl supermarket).

330ml stubby bottle from Lidl. A clean and crisp pale lager with some dusty hops at the back and in the swallow. Cleaner and lighter tasting than Czech lagers, but that sort of hop level.

Light yellow colored, no head. Estery, mildly metallic aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor has mild hops and esters, ending is somehow skunky.
