It’s copper with a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and light fruit, and the same notes are found I the flavour, that has a light sweetness and a light bitterness in the finish.

Clear amber with a medium off white head. Breadish nose with hints of grassy hops and toasted malt. Flavour had toasted malt, bread, grassy hops and caramel. Finished sweet and slightly bitter.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour is subtle, nutty with a rough bitterness in the finish. Low carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale amber, small head. Light caramelly nose with some red berries. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel, Light grassy hops and a touch of roastiness. Balanced bitterness.

Draft. An orange beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet dusty hoppy combined with a light caramel note. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The mouthfeel is flat.

(draught at the brewery & bottle at home) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malt aroma with a tinge of caramel and cacao powder. Caramel-malty taste, moderately toasted with herbal notes in the wings; light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation; moderately dry, bitter-sweet finish with noticeable herbal hoppy notes. Very good.

Tap, at the brewpub July 2005. Deep bronze, excellent off white head and moderate condition. Gentle peppery spicy nose with hints of caramel and malt, soft and sweet in the mouth with more caramel and a low bitter roasted note, lingering burnt toffee and low earthy hoppiness in the finish.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Malty, lightly caramelish nose. Medium-bodied with a very soft and smooth mouthfeel and a low carbonation. Sweetish notes of caramel malt and a hoppy finish. Perhaps a wee fusty edge. 111106
