Commercial Description: Brewed only for the Schwanen Post Gasthaus in Alpirsbach. This is the former Benediktiner Bräu, closed in 1910. Brewed in line with the original recipe.
Served in a tumbler with the Benediktiner Bräu logo at Schwanen Post Alpirsbach. Tap. Orange brown color, cloudy. Firm head. Malt dominates. Hints of orange, licorice and cinnamon. Medium bodied. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Fairly low on carbon. Quite good!
