The beer in the glass is good golden yellow with a flat head. Smells mild malty. It starts malty bitter. The aftertaste seems a bit dry. The center part is even more mild, mild hoppy, hardly bitter.

Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, persistent white head, aromatic "woody"-peppery hops in the grainy-malty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, smooth; slightly lingering aromatic-bitter and sweetish pale-malty finish. Quite good......

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden coloured, effervescent hue with a big and blond foamy head. Slightly sweet pale malty nose with a whiff of grains and sour dough, as well as shades of herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly harsh carbonation. Pale malt-character with chalky notes and a rough bitter and herbal hops profile towards the dry finish. 23.II.10

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled 33cl. Clear pale yellow with a decent average-sized lacing white head. Surprisingly sour musty pale malt aroma where wort and peas sneak in. The nice aroma hops are overpowered by stronger unpleasant components. Sourish taste with lemon showing up. Light bodied. Good bitterness. Dryish finish which is reminiscent of lemon peel and old socks. Interesting, but surely not a good interpretation of the style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Zippy, nice head. Starts hoppy and mild, not too dry, a little bit sweet-spicy. Finish fruity like lemon, modest sourish. Good beer!
