Tap @ brewpub, 03/04/14. Pours a reddish dark brown with a good, off-white head. Aroma is bready, malty, dark fruit there as well. Taste is dark, dunkel/porter fruit, raisin, dark maltiness, lightly sour. Light with not much carbonation. An enjoyable dunkel.

On tap at Stadtbrauerei. Pours black with a beige head. Dry with mild aromas of malts and hints of toasted matls. Medium to light bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry finish.

At the Brewpub. Almost clear amber brown beer, tidy off white head. Palate is smooth with very fine carbonation. Creamy malt, semi sweet. Touch of caramel. Finishes smooth. Mild and quaffable,

Tap at the Brewpub. It pours deep mahogany brown with a thick white head. The nose is roasted malt, dark fruit, cola, light caramel, wood and leather. The taste is roasted malt, earth, bitter chocolate, toast, cola and dark fruit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Solid, easy drinking dunkles.

RBESG 2012 - Day 1. Brown with a creamy and lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with bread crust and caramel, and a touch of herbal hops. Sweet malty flavour with a fruity hint and some yeasty notes.

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured clear reddish brown body with medium to bigger ocher head. Lightly roasted malt aroma, nuts, caramel, more or less same in the flavor with the addition of coffee. Generally sweet. Grainy notes are obvious, but I did not get those hops that some of my colleagues found. Medium in body with long, sweet caramel and toffee finish. I actually quite liked this one, it was a pleasant surprise.

Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. Fairly dark brown appearance with a tan head. Toasty dark bready, a touch spicy, a touch nutty aroma. Bland, a bit thin, slightly spicy, dark bready flavor. Pretty boring.
