Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark brown (almost black - white head. Burned, hay, cardboard, straw, boring. Almost no aroma or taste.....

Oct 6, 2008 Draught at the Brewerypub. A hazy brown colored beer, with a beige hea. The aroma of a little caramel with dark fruits, like raisins. The taste of dark caramel malt, a little chocolate, dry bitter. It has a long bitter aftertaste.

Dec 8, 2007 300ml draught (4.8% ABV) at the brewpub and as a partner to mushroom food. Devil-black with a copper tint. Beige ring around the rim of the glass. Lightly roasted aroma of malts. Dark caramel malts in flavour. Rounded, but a rather thin palate (30.11.2007).

Comments: Another very plumy and prune like Austrian dunkel. Concentrated malt orientation with pepper and apricot nuances.
