Bottle 50cl. (from gourmeo24.com). Very dark but clear brown color, medium frothy beige head, recedes slowly, malty aroma, light roasted, cocoa, some licorice, coffee; taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted malts; light to medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste mild bittersweet, roastiness rules; a rather mild and thin schwarzbier, mwah.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2015 (Beer was labeled as Feldschoschen Schwarzbier). Light nose. Hints of malt, roastiness. Appearance: not super dark, dark cola color. Taste is ok. not complex but chocolate, coffee, some roastiness and richness, grain, grass. Fresh and sparkly on the palate. moderate bitterness that lingers. A drinkable beer but would not consider it a great schwarzbier.

very dark brown with a nice looking white head. smell is of wood, roasted grain. tastes like dark bread, a bit of raisins as well, a tiny bit of lingering corny-sweetness. nice body. considering this was a bargain-priced beer this is a great find.

Heel donkerroodbruin kleur, plakkraag. Smaakt lichtmoutig, wrang, waterig helaas. Ruikt een beetje naar kersen, mout. Waterige nasmaak, niet zo mijn smaak, te waterig en light.
