0.5 l bottle (as a gift) from Vienna. It has a golden colour and a medium and quickly diminishing white head. The carbonation is average/soft. Sweeitsh smell of malt and yeast. The taste is sweet, aroma’s mainly of malt beside some notes of grassy hops. The finish is light bitter and dry. The body is medium/light, texture’s thin/watery, so It’s easily drinkable, but it has nothing really exciting for the tasteing senses...

Can, 5.0%. Mild papery aroma, OK refreshing. Clear shiny yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is mildly malty, with a slightly rough bitterness. Hint of grain in the finish, but not bad.

500 ml can. Clear golden body with a diminishing white head. Aroma is light fruity with grain. Flavor is refreshing; light malty with a hint of fruit and a indication of bitterness in the finish. Very ordinary and frankly very boring, but drinkable.

Can purchased somewhere in/near Graz (probably the big Merkur in Seiersberg). Poured a pale golden body with a medium-big sized white head that went away fast and loud. A grainy, maybe even slightly corny (dusty/eggy) nose, some malty sweetness shows up too. The same thing is pretty much repeated in the taste... corny? dusty/eggy maltiness in the backround, crude, herbal but light and offensive, somewhat chewy and acidic hopiness in the front. Light overall and a bit messy. Some malty sweetness again saves the overall impression. Weak metallic notes. Drinkable but as it got warmer it got worse... perhaps saved from an even worse fate by the lightness of the body, this is faaar from impressive and so far one of the worst beers of the trip. Feel like I’m overrating it a little.

Can. A clear, slightly pale golden beer with a finger-thick white head. Nice lacings. Mostly grainy nose, but supported by a pleasant fruity hoppyness. Some hay too. The flavor follows the same pattern, with pale malts up front, soon followed by fruits and some hay. Quite dry, but some residual sugars with a balancing bitterness. Thin to medium body. The finish gives a sweet impression and rounds of with a medium lenght bitterness. Far from impressing, but I guess it would quench the thirst easily in the summer heat. (090111)
