Dark amber with a fruity toffee aroma. Flavor is toffee and fruit and finishes with a bit of malty flavor. Hop character is nearly non-existent. Clean and not bad but nothing out of the ordinary.

500ml, swing-top bottle from some small shop in Munich. Pours a clear, deep brown colored body with a finger-width, frothy, tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is fairly malty sweet with some richer caramels, a few fruity notes, a bit of a toasty bread, and a soft bittering hint. Flavor is similar. Caramels and some toasty toffee up front with a nice dark fruit, slight bread, and light cocoa note. Finishes clean, smooth, and somewhat dry with a light-medium bitterness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium-light body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent dunkel. Nice caramel, toast, and fruit notes with a solid, clean bitterness. Nice beer.

Pours dark brown with amber highlights and a small off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and some iced tea notes. Flavor is caramel, light fruity and nutty notes.

It’s a hazy dark red mahogany with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of burnt sugar, caramel, roasted malt and hints of chocolate. The medium sweet flavor has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and burnt sugar, and it has hints of licorice in the finish.

bottle pours a red tinted, cloudy brown with off white light beige head. Aroma of burnt sugar, raisin, water, plum, generally fruity. Flavor is fruity and rounded off with caramel and molasses notes on the finish, slightly earthy, notes of hay, light fruity tones. Medium to light bodied. Pretty nice.

Bottle: The aroma consists of toffee, fruit, and light nuts. It pours a transparent orangish-brown sith a two fingers off white head that leaves behind some sporadic webbing for lacing. The flavor starts with toffee and light fruit. The finish has light-moderate nuts and light tootsie roll notes. It has mild carbonation and a somewhat thin mouthfeel. Overall, flavor is solid but mouthfeel leaves a little to be desired.
