500 ml bottle. BB 4/10/16. Thanks Timo A!
Dark brown color with a small light tan head. Dry malt, grain, sweet caramel and some licorice in the aroma. Sweet caramel, mild sweetener, dry grainy malt and molasses. Wow! What a surprise!

It’s hazy red copper with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, nuts and a touch of dark fruit. The flavor is sweet with note of nuts, roasted malt, caramel, fruit and a touch of licorice towards the finish that ends with notes of nuts. A lovely bock, and I love the label - too cute :) (sorry for sounding girly ;)

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Jonas!): Reddish-amber coloured, hazy, little tanned head, caramelly-fruity nose with a tinge of walnut-oil; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; caramel, some burnt malt, in the sweet-fruity finish, balancing hops in the aftertaste. Nice brew.....

(swing top bottle, with thanks to Jonas) Hazy, dark amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Hearty caramely and toasted malty and nutty aroma with present spicy notes of anise and herbs. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty and slightly nutty taste with caramel, marzipan and shy herbal accents; moderately sweet toasty and caramely finish. Nice but unusual Maibock. 26.X.11

Bottle. Thick rum-raisin malt aroma initially, honey, a hint hop aromatics. Cloudy dark chestnut, offwhite head. Good balance - roasted maltiness, light earthy notes, apples, lemon hop notes. Relatively lightbodied and sparkly which makes it seem quite fresh and light. grassy, citric and earthy hop notes retronasal. Good one.
