Pours crystal clear straw w/ low white head and moderate lacing. Some slight saaz aroma. A very flavor of lemon/grass and some soft phenolics. A very nice Pilsner and good example of the style. Thanks Carsten for bring the beer!

Bottle: Pours a golden with a thin white head. Light, grassy hop nose, with hints of grain in the background. Has a mild palate, with a light saaz/grassy flavor. The malt presence is bisquity and pleasant. Easy going and highly drinkable.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jmuhops (666) - Winchester, Virginia, USA - SEP 26, 2007
Pours clear gold-amber with a two-finger white head. Very grainy aroma with a good bit of sweet, earthy German hops. Flavor begins a little bland, just faint bready malt. There’s a small hop bite in the middle, before the beer finishes almost like it started.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RblWthACoz (963) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - SEP 20, 2007
Pours a clear gold with a slight amber touch. Nose is caramel and sweet with a strong malty edge. Flavor is a bit smoky with a thick mature sweet tone. Feel is bordering on a slightly syrupy side. Low carbonation. Drinakble, yeah. But the low carbonation and the syrupy feel kind of kill it. I didn’t appreciate it that much in the long run.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TrevorFloyd (309) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 13, 2007
A nice crisp pale yellow color, the flavor starts with some faintly sweet malt rounded out with some grassy hop notes. Finish is kinda thin, as though a large degree of the flavor drops off. Still, enjoyable.

Bottle - Yellow gold on the color. The aroma is more malt than hops but the palate shows a bit more of the yeast and grassy hops. Nice a crisp.

Bottled (thanks DerDoppelbock!). Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is malts, hops and quite salty notes. Flavour is very much the same along with a slightly vegetably and hayish finish. Quite watery, but still pleasant.
