Aroma is sort of grassy but with tons of hay and honey and maybe a note of ginger...delicious. Bright golden with not so much white stuff on top. Excellent malt flavour that’s perfectly offset by noble hops. Gentle bitterness, with plenty of pleasant hay. Really a top notch PIls. Medium body and crisp with medium carbonation and a clean finish.
cgreb (84), Marburg, Germany Nov 27, 2008 bottle - light yellow beer with white head. Very nice hay aroma. Flavour of malt and hay. Good Pils. Codythegreat (121), Carrollton, Georgia, USA Oct 29, 2008 It wasn’t bad. I couldn’t remember too much of it because it was my last beer of the day and it was during oktoberfest. Yeah I can’t remember anything. CIPS514 (73), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA Oct 26, 2008 I was intoxicated at this point but I remember it being a good beer. The pop top was nice and fun and best of all safe. It prevented the cap from flying around and potentially hitting a small child in the eye. Obviously I was intoxicated at the time I wrote my thought on this beer. I am just repeated what I wrote at the time I enjoyed it. jebb12 (12), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 22, 2008 When someone is able to take a very basic beer, i.e. a German Pilsner, using only ordinary ingredients, without showy flair or fancy addiditves, and does that to perfection, then that is a beer worthy of high praise. This is that beer. Wonderful grassy flavor with a balance of sweet and subtle bitterness this is a drinkable but complex product. Best of its kind. MrRomero (1913), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 20, 2008 500ml bottle: poured light yellow with a medium white head. Moderate aroma of grape and apple. Flavor is crisp with apple and grape, finishing up with a nice bitterness. Good.
