50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber to light brown with a lacing off-white head. Mild fruity towards acidic and bitterhops aroma, light malt presence too. Sweet fruity and caramelish with a lack of bitterness. Sweet caramel and fruity lingering finish.

Sweet flavour of malts, aramel and dried fruits with notes of alcohol and hops.
Hoppy and warming alcoholic finish.

May 31, 2008 Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, no head to speak of; moderate, clean, nutty and dark-malty nose with a light tinge of alcohol; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF, a bit oily/sticky; caramel, dark malt in the sweet finish, citrousy hops detectable in the aftertaste. Easy drinking, all in all pleasant and "harmless" Doppelbock..........

May 18, 2008 bottle, Danke MoritzF! Clear amber colour, medium-size creamy beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, very malty and sweet-ish, hints of roasted malt, caramel and dried fruit, especially apple. Slightly hoppy only. Very pleasant soft and velvety-creamy mouthfeel, lovely soft carbonation. Lingering finish with hints of toffee, caramel and dried fruit. A superb Doppelbock.
