(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a rough off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Solid body with a clean base of roasted malts and sweetish rye bread. Basically no bitterness. 180808

Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, no head to speak of; moderate, clean, nutty and dark-malty nose with a light tinge of alcohol; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF, a bit oily/sticky; caramel, dark malt in the sweet finish, citrousy hops detectable in the aftertaste. Easy drinking, all in all pleasant and "harmless" Doppelbock..........

bottle, Danke MoritzF! Clear amber colour, medium-size creamy beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, very malty and sweet-ish, hints of roasted malt, caramel and dried fruit, especially apple. Slightly hoppy only. Very pleasant soft and velvety-creamy mouthfeel, lovely soft carbonation. Lingering finish with hints of toffee, caramel and dried fruit. A superb Doppelbock.
