Aug 14, 2006 draught. At 2006 Toronto Festival of Beer. Hazy gold, small white diminishing head. Strong ginger aroma, but not as sweet as some - didn’t make me think "Canada Dry" - lightly spicy and bitter. Flavour wasa nice blend of malt and pungent ginger, sweeter tasting than the aroma indicated, but some good herbal bitterness in the finish - thick, somewhat flat, syrupy - for a ginger, pretty nice ... not as beery as I’d like, but refreshing.

Aug 13, 2006 TFOB 2006. Hazy golden orange, not much head. Prominent ginger aroma. Lots of ginger in the flavour, malt is in the background. Reminds me of my Dad’s ginger heavy stir fry.Average palate. Not bad. Could use a bigger beer backing to complement the ginger IMHO, but this was a pretty successful experiment! Nice job Perry.
