Brewed especially for two beer festivals in Toronto and Ottawa. Hazy golden-amber colour. Smoky malt nose with some floral sweetness. Fairly sweet flavour profile with notes of caramel, honey, heather & malt, and a great herbal hop finish. Another winner from Perry & co.

Yet another draught tasting from the Toronto Beer Festival 2004. It seems as though this one wasn’t entirely "retired" since it was in fact available this weekend. Hop aroma is largely evident in this one. I really enjoyed this, it was very tasty. Generous citrus flavour. Had a really good balance and was very flavourful.

(Draught) Medium, white head with a lightly carbonated orange body. Nose of caramel and bubblegum. Flavour is true Scotch Irish: Hops - baby! Strong hops with undertones of cask whiskey and mild malt. Very good.

A nice scotch ale from Scotch Irish! Dark orange colour, big off-white head. Lots of whiskey-like hints in the aroma. Strong malt taste, more hints of whiskey and lots of hops in the finish. I thought perhpas it was a little unbalanced at times but overall, a solid brew.

Medium creamy head, tea, slight orange hue. Bitter, big hoppy nose, sweet malt. Clean, well hopped ale. Slightly earthy.
