The finish is slightly dry and bitter with hints of chalk and alcohol. The body is full and nice! thewolf (5727), Kolding, Denmark

Wonderful bottle btw... Pours a very deep brown, bordering on black. On top is a good, creamy light-brown head - much like coffee cream. Wonderful complex aroma, that belies the relatively subdued ABV. Coffee, deep dark chocolate, caramel and light viniousness. Mouthfeel is generally rather nice, slightly creamy but still light. Flavour is impressively balanced, lots of coffee, sweet sugars, a nice subdued hoppy profile and a good dose of chocolate and roasted malts in the aftertaste. A really impressive Imperial Stout when the ABV is taken into account. Wonderful! hopdog (5552), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a dark black color with a smaller sized tan head. Aromas of coffee, charred wood, caramel, smoke, and roasted coffee. Tastes of chocolate, roast, some dark fruits, coffee, and some vanilla. Kinda of like an Imperial Stout lite but very tasty and very drinkable.
