Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA May 10, 2009 Stubby courtesy of Matt7215. Pours copper with an off white rocky head. Smells of perfume, light citrus, earthy. Tastes of citrus, perfume, wildflowers, a touch of resin, sage. Unusual hop profile, but very refined and enjoyable. chops (60), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Mar 31, 2009 On tap from Volo. Poured like a fresh squeezed orange. Lots of wonderful hoppy and citrus aromas. I high quality IPA. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA Feb 5, 2009 Bottle, sampled at Woodshop Quad. Pours a cloudy amber with a white ring. Big sweet aroma, of malt, hops, caramel, and dark fruits. Nice bitter-sweet taste, with a bit of hops, caramel, malt, herbs, and a bit of a bite. Lingering clean sharp bitterness. Still drinkable. PaulHegedus (459), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Jan 28, 2009 Draught at Volo, January 2009. This is a wonderful IPA, copper orange with a small off white head (likely small to fit a full pint in the glass). There are aromas of peach in the hops. It’s really drinkable, approachable and very fresh. Hops in the flavour give way to some inviting layers of apricot and peach and plenty of bitterness. WeeHeavySD (2941), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Jan 18, 2009 Bottle at the woodshop quad, at least 2 years old, probably older, age did this beer well. Pours reddish with a tan ring. Nose is sweet and boozy. Taste is sweet mellow and really pretty damn good, no hops left but who cares. JohnC (2233), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jan 18, 2009 thanks to whomever brought this t woodshop quad
sweet up front with a dry finish, nice beer Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Sep 18, 2008 Bottle. Deep jewel tone red-ruby. Incredibly red. Nose is balanced, hoppy but also with meaty caramel malts. Autumnal aromas: crisp, bitter air. Good, quaff-friendly palate. Like an ESB balance of flavors. Roasty, burnt goodness. Very nice. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 19, 2008 A fellow LCBO customer saw me buying Mill Street Tankhouse Ale and recommended next time I try this one. I took his advice and was quite pleased. Aroma is quite hoppy with some malty and fruity notes. A hint of caramel also. Flavour about the same with some bitterness. Good job Canada, you’re starting to come around.
