garthicus (1216), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 23, 2008 Bottle - Orange colour with a small whispy white head. Malt-hop aroma, with traces of citrus. Hoppy-bitter flavour, some definite grapefruit in there too, has a dry sweet finish. Nice little beer. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA Jan 6, 2008 Amber coloured with a huge white head from an explosive pour. Not much aroma, just a bit of grapefruit like hops. Lots of bitterness in this over carbonated beer. No a whole lot going on here. steyrman (12), TORONTO, Ontario, Canada Dec 21, 2007 A nice beer with bite! Very hoppy, finishes clean, not too sweet. Pungent nose, punchy taste. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Oct 13, 2007 Amber with nice white head. Decent, but rather subdued aroma, of orange, caramel and bitter burnt grain. Flavor is all bitter astringency, burnt grain and nothing else. To peddle this as an IPA is a shame. Illini08 (528), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Oct 2, 2007 Bottle. Strangely bitter. Reminds me of an ESB. I can pick up the white-grapefruit flavor that they talk about in the description, and its even a bit resinous, but all of these tastes come together in a very odd fashion. Worth trying as apparently many people like it, but it’s just not quite my thing. Bobsy (194), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 21, 2007 Updated: Jan 7, 2008On tap at Beerbistro. Delightfully hoppy beer, and far more bitter than your average IPA. A pine accent was also pleasant. I’d definitely buy again. barleyPops (1079), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA Sep 16, 2007 one of the more unusual IPA’s I’ve tried. more malty than hoppy and more bitter than any other IPA I can recall. just strange. Jan Primus (160), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Sep 12, 2007 This is the best (and only) example of an ipa we have available in Ontario. Has nice bitterness, citrus notes, clear copper colour...and a refreshingly dry aftertaste, very nice summertime brew.
