COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It offers a finely wooded nose hinting at hazelnut, and is therefore distinct from traditional British scotches. It has a more rounded taste letting a discreetly full-bodied bitterness come to the fore, and will naturally seduce you.
Ingredients: Water, pale ale malt, caramel malt, aromatic malt, sugar, yeast, Kent hop, hallertau hop.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsdalen. Mørkebrun med et lite rødskjær. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Tynn lacing. Forsiktig whiskyaroma. Litt søt. Smaken en blanding av søt frukt og whisky. Ikke vellykket. Litt syrlig etter hvert.

It has a very good caramel aroma. Very strong brown ale. Very coffee malt. It has a dark brown cloudy liquid and brown hard head. A little bit bitter and also sweet. Full body and oily texture, with average carbonation. The finish is bitter.

Een beetje ijzer geur, ook wat caramel. zoetig-bitterige smaak. 8% maar eerder een doordrinker. Goeie balans en afdronk.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 28/05/15. Red amber, little tanned head. Nose is oxidized, light cough syrup, candy, sugar, herbal syrup, faint metallic note. Taste is herbal, cough syrup, sweet good kind of oxidation, candy, quite a bit of cloves, syrupy,… Low carbonation, oxidized body but still solid and syrupy. I got an older bottle but it held up quite well. Not necessarily to my preference but quite a good profile if you are into vintage & BE beers. For fans of oxidation, cloves (& other spices) and cough syrup.

På flaska importerad från Belgien. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad. Doft av russin. Väldigt söt smak med en svag beska som hänger kvar länge i gommen.
