It offers a finely wooded nose hinting at hazelnut, and is therefore distinct from traditional British scotches. It has a more rounded taste letting a discreetly full-bodied bitterness come to the fore, and will naturally seduce you.
Ingredients: Water, pale ale malt, caramel malt, aromatic malt, sugar, yeast, Kent hop, hallertau hop.

Bottle. Reddish-brown with a small head. Aroma of caramel, candy sugar, overripe fruits, yeast and alcohol. Taste - very sweet and malty, dried fruits, caramel, brown sugar, light roast, toffee and alcohol. Medium body, light-medium carbonation, sticky and syrupy, should be drank with a small sips and not too chilled. Not bad, some interesting nuances in taste, though too sweet and alcoholic to fully enjoy it.

Buena.

Bottle 330ml. Clear brown with low quickly diminishing off-white head. Yeasty aroma, notes of cherry and honey date, alcoholic. Too sweet malty flavor, yeasty, notes of cherry, syrup, raisins, very alcoholic. Almost no carbonation. Medium to full body. Sweet alcoholic aftertaste.

Small bottle. Brown, big tan head. Nose is dark fruit, brown sugar, Belgian yeast spiciness. Flavour is really sweet toffee with esters and phenols, finish is a bit vinous. If the next craft beer trend is Belgian Scotches I might have to kill myself.

Een bier met een heel uitgesproken smaak, maar spijtig genoeg niet mijn ding.

Great taste. Really grew on me as I was drinking it. Not really a strong scotchy taste, very good.

Bottle from Total Wine. Muddy amber pour with almost no head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste matches -- malt, candy, sugar -- with a little plum on the finish. Delicious beer.

Deep amber colour, with almost no head. Smell is sweet, malty, caramel. Taste too, with moderate bitterness in the end and some alcohol. Good, but a bit too sweet for me.
