Sampled on tap at the 2nd annual Urban Chestnut Wolpertinger party in a dimple mug. It poured a hazy light-amber colour with lasting white foam. Strong woodsy and maple syrup aromas, typical amber ale stuff underneath. Flavor matched: soft malt sweetness with some faint caramel, fruit, and strong maple essence, muted hops. Medium body and carbonation, mouthfeel a bit mushy, but an interesting table-beer overall. Needless to say, I’m highly intrigued by this new brewery.
