Nice color and creamy head. Caramel malt, mild spice, and a healthy dose of delicious hazelnut combine for a pleasant brew. Normally I do not like any of Hubers products, but this one is not without it’s charm. $4.99 for a 12 pack sampler on 2/9/07 in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Dec 22, 2007 Nutty aroma when poured. Little head. Thin sweet taste. No bitterness. Hazelnut flavor tastes very artificial. Watered down.

Nov 3, 2007 Had this beer on 6/10/2006. Aroma is a dry hazelnut scent. Color is a nice golden brown with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is crisp, rich and nutty. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish comes on with a dry hazelnut flavor that is quickly supported by a rich sweet malt flavor which leaves you with a nice warm feel. This is one of the best Winter Brews I have ever had. It is well round and has just the right amount of nut flavor. Its rich and warming without overpowering you.
