pkbites (273), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Feb 9, 2007 Nice color and creamy head. Caramel malt, mild spice, and a healthy dose of delicious hazelnut combine for a pleasant brew. Normally I do not like any of Hubers products, but this one is not without it’s charm. $4.99 for a 12 pack sampler on 2/9/07 in West Allis, Wisconsin.
mwelsh13 (231), Maryland, USA Dec 22, 2007 Nutty aroma when poured. Little head. Thin sweet taste. No bitterness. Hazelnut flavor tastes very artificial. Watered down. RSRIZZO (1078), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 3, 2007 Had this beer on 6/10/2006. Aroma is a dry hazelnut scent. Color is a nice golden brown with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is crisp, rich and nutty. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish comes on with a dry hazelnut flavor that is quickly supported by a rich sweet malt flavor which leaves you with a nice warm feel. This is one of the best Winter Brews I have ever had. It is well round and has just the right amount of nut flavor. Its rich and warming without overpowering you. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Apr 4, 2007 one of the better ones in this sampler. caramel and nut flavors actually evident here, not a bad brown ale. DocLock (4175), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 20, 2006 Bottle from the Beer Yard. Amber colored with aroma of caramel malt, some christmas spices. Medium palate with flavors of caramel malt, nutmeg, brown sugar.
