4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had this beer on 6/10/2006. Aroma is a dry hazelnut scent. Color is a nice golden brown with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is crisp, rich and nutty. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish comes on with a dry hazelnut flavor that is quickly supported by a rich sweet malt flavor which leaves you with a nice warm feel. This is one of the best Winter Brews I have ever had. It is well round and has just the right amount of nut flavor. Its rich and warming without overpowering you.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nutty aroma when poured. Little head. Thin sweet taste. No bitterness. Hazelnut flavor tastes very artificial. Watered down.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice color and creamy head. Caramel malt, mild spice, and a healthy dose of delicious hazelnut combine for a pleasant brew. Normally I do not like any of Hubers products, but this one is not without itís charm. $4.99 for a 12 pack sampler on 2/9/07 in West Allis, Wisconsin.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This bottled brew poured a large sized head of foamy mostly lasting finely sized white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent copper brown colored very carbonated body and a fair lacing. The aroma contained nutty malty and sweet notes. The mouth feel was crisp clean semi-thick and tingly from start to smooth finish. The flavor contained nice nutty malty notes with a hint of sweet bread and mild spices.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
much better than its rating shows...amber pour with small white head...aroma is of sugars, fruits, and caramel...flavor combines these elements and adds a touch of hazelnut, hops, and cinnamon/nutmeg....decent palate

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a much ligher than expected color- pale copper/very light amber with a thin head. Aroma is pure hazelnut extract and butterscotch. TOo much diacetyl with seems to be in most of these beers. Very light caramel and some nutty flavors with a dry hazelnut finish. Weak watery mouthfeel.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Gold color with a brown tinge and a small fizzy white head. Aroma is very mild, nutty and sweet spice. Flavor is dominated by grain and hazelnut extract but has a bit of caramel and vanilla in the background. Heavy carbonation and a bit light bodied. Not horrible but not that good either.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Mostly diminishing ivory medium sized fizzy head with poor lacing, transparent, fizzy carbonation, and an orange hue. Malty, caramel, nutty, hoppy, sweet nose. Sweet, malty, caramel, nutty, clean tasting brew. Nicely done! Tingly mouthfeel. Medium body. Worth a try.
