This is an American style amber ale with distinctive hop flavor and aroma. The hop character is a result of the blending of Mt. Hood and Willamette hops. It is highlighted by the light amber color and balanced by malt undertones. We recommend this beer for those who enjoy hop characteristics, but donít want to be overwhelmed by them.

Pours clear copper with not much of head or lacing. Hint of malt and hops on both the aroma and taste. So so. Iím thinking that ambers are not really my style.

Draft pour pint at the xfinity arena. Royalties for the brand name drop? Concert beer, and a not new record for plastic cup beers in an evening. Pours a reddish copper color. I feel like my visual observations of amber ales has become quite redundant. Sweet, sugary maple like aroma. Almost like cinnamon. Weird. Nutty flavor, and sugar sweet. This is probably the best beer option at this arena. Note to self: there isnít very good beer at this arena.

Amber pour from the bottle with aromas of malt light caramel, minerals and feint hops. Flavors match the aromas with more mineral and light bitter finish than most.

Bottle from Grocery Outlet. Dark hazy amber in color. Nose is quite sweet and is dominated by dark fruit. Very bready up front. It then moves into a somewhat bitter hop flavor. Not very well balanced. Pretty mediocre attempt at an amber.

On tap at the Porterhouse, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is perfumey and sweet. Flavour is around the same, with perfume, sweet malt, and light bready notes. Very bland sweetish amber. Not too good.

Where and how: bottle 355ml
Aroma milder hop feel with amber malt feel. Tad plain still pleasant enough. Mild nutty, woodsy backing.
Appearance :
Top: lighter white cap
Base: hazy bright amber.
Palate : medium-lighter body, milder carbonation, even watery
Taste: a bit mineral with its approach. Sweet caramel malts with nutty-leafy hints on side.
Other notes good as simple patio brew.

This is poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer. The smell had a nice sweet roasty nutty to caramel maltiness. The taste was mainly roasty malty sweetness. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me. Overall, decent amber nothing to go bonkers about but could possibly have again.

22 oz bomber bought from "Grocery Outlet" in Salem OR $3.99 Nice light amber ale with a good sized frothy off white head. Ok creamy fudge malt aromas..barely a touch of hop. Plain malty forward taste..well balanced, does get a touch of bitterness in the end. Ok mouth feel average for style..lowish carbonation leads to better drinkability. íAverage amber..

Unimpressed. Appearance is a copper amber color with no head and no lacing. Carbonation is minimal and the body is poor. While the flavor is appealing, there is no distinctive items associated with this beer that will make it memorable.

Slightly hazy amber under a thin foamy off-white head. Lovely earthy caramel tone on the nose and a sweet touch of toast. Tasty flavor with some toast and a bit of earthy caramel, mild earthy bitterness with not a lot of prolific hop flavor. Just ok, pretty "amber".
