3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma: fruity hops and biscuity malt, caramel. Taste: initially quite sweet but it mellows over time, nutty biscuity malt, fruity hops. Low bitterness, low carbonation, medium body. Meh. My favourite thing about this beer is the artwork on the label.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Sour fruity nose, dates, dark fruit, seaweed, and smoke(?). Quite fragrant. Pinkish Amber color. Very sweet initial, with berries, overripe peaches, moderately sharp hopping. Medium body. Very sharp fruit flavors. Quite heavy for an amber. Getting a bit close to its drink-by date... Maybe too ripe?

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours orangey copper with off-white head, almost no head retention whatsoever. Aromas of bready malt, some fruit (kind of a Twizzlers-like artificial smell), a bit of toffee and brown sugar. Taste is bread, toast, that artificial berry note again, toffee/caramel, and low-medium bitterness. Body is thin, very low carbonation. Wish I could speak more highly of this as itís from the largest brewery in my hometown, but itís just very underwhelming.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Rather flat tasting with little to differentiate it beyond an ale. Really nothing special in my experience.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft pour pint at the xfinity arena. Royalties for the brand name drop? Concert beer, and a not new record for plastic cup beers in an evening. Pours a reddish copper color. I feel like my visual observations of amber ales has become quite redundant. Sweet, sugary maple like aroma. Almost like cinnamon. Weird. Nutty flavor, and sugar sweet. This is probably the best beer option at this arena. Note to self: there isnít very good beer at this arena.
