3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Anthony’s in Lynnwood, WA. Pours translucent copper with an off-white head. Aroma is rather roasty malt, and citrus? Med body. Flavor is very roasty malt. Arguably citrus hop. Pretty malty, yet rather bitter.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tapered Pils glass draft at Anthony’s in Spokane, Washington. The pour is clear orange golden with a one inch well formed off white head. The aroma is faint floral hops and muted cracker malt. The taste is the nose, clean enough, just very subdued malt and hop flavors. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and a dry floral finish. Decent.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Anthony’s at SEA. Pours a foggy copper color with a frothy white head. Not much on the aroma front. Slight hops. But outside of that, nothing. Strong, bitter taste. Maybe it’s bad hops? Dry finish but it does not really offer much else.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz at Sea-Tac Airport. Warm, hazed gold amber. Small foam. Toasty biscuit, a bit muddled but an alright malty pale ale balance. Drying bitter finish. Classic nw pale, quite tasty enough for an airport beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. A quite clear one, golden-orange, and topped by an off-white head leaving lacings. Hop-driven aroma with pale malts in the back. Some caramel, borderline toffee, notes. Pine cones and citrus peel. The flavor is pretty much the same, with the added joy of bitterness. Some malty sweetness. Medium to full body, pleasant carbonation level. Bitter and fruity finish, peaches, pine cones and some grassy notes. Well, except that it’s a tad on the malty side, it’s a fine brew. 130702

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Biscuit and toasted malts, floral mild hoppiness. Pours hazy amber, thin head, not lasting. Flavors of biscuity malt, toasted notes, a light sweetness and floral hops. Very mild hoppiness. Dry biscuity notes. Medium to medium high carbonation. Light body not hard to drink. Not interesting.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Hearthfire in Bellingham, WA. Moderate amber body, small head. Overall mild and subdued, but just enough hops to give it some flavor. Not bad, but forgettable.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Anthony’s SeaTac... golden amber in color with small head. Smell paint and floral. Touch of sweetness, taste was average. Wouldn’t order again unless in a pinch.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Anthony’s at Sea Tac. Copper/Amber pour, foamy off-white head that is lacing well. Not much nose but I can detect some faint floral hoppiness. Sweet and malty up front, followed by a well rounded blast of bitterness. The lingering flavor is a combination of sweetness on the tip of the tongue and sharp bitterness in the back of the mouth. Considering how strong the sweetness and bitterness are, this is surprisingly well balanced. Pale ale isn’t my most sought after style, but I can appreciate a good one and am pleased by the glass in front of me.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Anthony’s. Decent American Pale Ale. Nothing more, nothing less. Hazy appearance with an golden amber color and a beige head. Not too hoppy so it actually paired well with my seafood medley.
